Tianzi is at 80%.
Not pics since I am lazy and can't find the cord.
Dress needs zipper, train needs to be hemmed and attached.
Veil needs to be done, so does the extra layers on the train
Wig needs dying. May redo trim on neckline.

Stuff and fluff on crack
Shit son, I have a week to finish a wedding dress... OMGWTFBBQ
I WILL do it. I have no choice. I will be a slave to my own procrastination and determination and get this done, well.
Hat needs to be redone and the veil needs to be hemmed and attached, sleeves need to be attached and the cuffs need to be scalloped. The skirt needs to be finished, and well as the train. Don't even get me started on the train. This is mostly a list for me so I don't forget and can visualize what's going on. I peg myself at 50%... fabulous.
This wouldn't be so frustrating if I didn't get a pound of homework every night. Seriously. The amount of trees I kill to get my homework done is wasteful, and astonishing. The biggest culprit, of course, is Japanese. I printed over 100 pages for that class already, and it's only the first week... at least I'm done after this, unless I want to perpetuate this self induced torture. he... I probably will.
Right, I'm off. I got distracted by the internet, it's just so shiny.

Peeves
My Pet Peeves:
1)Loud, disrespectful neighbors who disobey courtesy hours
2) People who think they are the walking encyclopedia on a topic, but fail to recognize the simplest things. Case and point; girl calls out people for doing something Japanese-esque saying they don't know know anything about Japan because she THINKS they don't do it like that in Japan and ends up making a huge faux pas about Japanese culture, wearing the yukata with right over left.
3) People who are so one-minded that they are blinded by their biased views of how they *think* the world *should* work.... meaning the world, in their opinion, the world should revolve around them
4) Running out of the bobbin thread when you are almost done with a stich
5) wet socks
6) People who use shitty, cheap fabric on cosplay costumes
That is all

First day of classes
Today was the first day of classes, and it went pretty well. So far, the heaviest workload seems to be in Japanese, which is to be expected. I need to practice it more.... >_<
I got my Tianzi wig :D I'm excited! The extensions need to be put in, and then it needs to be dyed. The quality of the wig is so so, but the extensions are beautiful! I'm getting super excited for this con, more so than I think I was for Ota... wtf?
Also, I'm posting a bag here. I made it for a friend as a Christmas present, but I haven't given it to her yet. It's quilted but you can't really see it in the picture. Whatever. I made it so it goes here. D:

Welcome!

This is my blog dedicated to all my cosplay, clothing, and crafting creations! Hopefully, within the next few months it will be filled with a whole bunch of new projects! With a dress form, a new camera, and a new sewing room, I've finally gotten the motivation I need to get things up and running! :D
My studio, lol. not really. It's the corner of my boyfriend's basement that I sort of acquired. I like to think of it as my studio, but it's hardly anything like that. Just a lot of space and good lighting, and freezing cold.... and of coure, my currently eclectic dress form... Sophie!
